Tradition, Time and Thought

All products that are bought at BROOD are made with a lot of passion and time. This starts with the selection of our ingredients. For the best products, only the best ingredients are good enough. Therefore, BROOD makes use of durable, natural and –if possible- local ingredients only.

All our products are based on sourdough. Sourdough has a long tradition and was invented by the Farao’s from Egypt. Sourdough exists from a natural fermentation between flour and water. Our fermentation process has a duration of at least 2 days. As a result our bread obtains a great structure, smell and taste.
